Rathnadeepa Divers, is Sri Lanka’s newest PADI scuba diving centre! Opening in Trincomalee in April 2026, whether you are looking for a first try-dive, some fun diving packages or to progress in your PADI qualifications (rec and tec), dive with us and take advantage of our opening offers!
We offer tailored packages with the newest high-spec equipment: All our equipment is high quality with Scubapro and Aqualung BCDs, MK25 regulators, and the full range of accompanying equipment – for snorkellers, recreational and technical divers. Our cylinders and air compressors are imported from the UK and maintained to British standards to ensure great air all the time!
What is also special about Rathnadeepa Divers is that we are one of the very few centres to offer Nitrox diving and have a highly experienced team: we are one of only two centres in Sri Lanka with a resident tec deep instructor. With a long diving career and a wealth of international experience, we ensure that every diver has the best experience in an environment which puts safety first.

At Rathnadeepa Divers, we offer a comprehensive selection of diving packages to suit both novice and seasoned divers alike. Whether you’re taking your first plunge or looking to refine your underwater skills, our diverse range of options ensures that every adventurer can find the perfect fit.
The coasts of Sri Lanka offer some outstanding diving on coral reefs, walls, drop-offs and wrecks. In the surrounding waters of both in Negombo and Trincomalee, there are lots of different species of Coral.
A selection of our dive sites are shown below – our standard offering is two dives in the morning. You’ll need to bring proof of your current certification and your diving experience.
Remember if you haven’t dived for a long time, you may need to do a short ‘Refresher Course’ which we can also arrange.
